- The main purpose behind Brown's Computer
Services is to offer a wide variety of products and services both online and offline, for
the average customer.
- From our humble beginnings, back in 1993, we
have grown in concept and vision to encompass Computer Technology as it applies to
Entertainment, Multimedia, Business, Education, Etc.
The company's Founder, Service Technician and
Certified Instructor, Steven H. Brown, has 28+ years experience in Electronic Maintenance,
Computer Technology, Hardware, Software, Programming, Business Applications,
Networking, Education, Training, Research, Web Page Design, etc...
Steve's experience with technology started back in
1978, when PCs were not widely marketed yet. Here is a list of his educational and career
experiences which have contributed to his qualifications:
- December 1999: Earned the A+
Technician Certification from the Computer Technology Industry Association.
- May 2001: Opened
Brown's Computer Services shop and storefront.
- April 2002:
Relocated Brown's Computer Services to residence and specializing in
Online Service; Support; Research; Investigations; and Web Site
Design, Hosting and Management.
- October 2002: Began teaching Computer Technology at
Vatterott College, in Springfield, Missouri.
- November 2006: Returned full-time
self-employment with Brown's Computer Services in order to have a
more flexible schedule to spend time with family and pursue his
college education.
- May 2008: Earned a Bachelor's
Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
- February 2009: Back at Vatterott
College teaching Computer Technology
- February 2010: Became the IT
Coordinator for Vatterott College Springfield and Joplin campuses.
- May 2010: Opened Brown's Computer
Services at 234 NE Elm (Hwy 60) in Billings, MO.
